Chief Executive Officer

Geoff has worked within the telecommunications industry for in excess of 20 years, starting in 1988 when he joined Alcatel's accounting cadet program.

He brings an invaluable diversity of skills and experience to M2, having worked in vendor and service provider organisations managing businesses with indirect, wholesale and direct sales organisations across both SMB and Enterprise segments.  

Geoff’s extensive management experience and financial acumen provide well-rounded leadership for M2 and ensure a structured approach to acquisition assessment and integration.

Darryl Inns

Darryl Inns

Chief Financial Officer

Darryl is M2’s Chief Financial Officer, and has been with the Company for over 10 years. He is responsible for the Company’s financial reporting, management accounting, internal audit and credit management.  

As CFO, Darryl has made valuable contributions to cash flow management, the implementation of comprehensive management reporting systems and financial control procedures.  He was instrumental during M2’s IPO in 2004 and has also been responsible for the financial due diligence of each of M2’s acquisitions over the years.

Darryl previously served in senior finance roles in technology and manufacturing companies in both Australia and in the United Kingdom.

Darryl is a Certified Practicing Accountant and a Fellow of CPA Australia and Chartered Secretaries Australia.  He is also a Graduate of the Institute of Company Directors.

Corporate Services Director
Company Secretary

Kellie is the Corporate Services Director for M2, leading the teams responsible for legal and regulatory affairs, human resources, investor relations and corporate communications.  She is also Company Secretary for all M2 group companies, and ensures that M2’s governance requirements are met.

Prior to joining M2 in October 2007, Kellie was Company Secretary for Orion Telecommunications, which M2 acquired in 2007.  During her time at M2, she has acquired particular expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, compliance and risk management.

Kellie has a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts, and is also a Fellow of Chartered Secretaries Australia and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Steve Wicks

Director New Markets

Steve is M2’s Business Director, leading the Sales and Channel Management for emerging markets such as Fibre and NBN.

He is a member of M2's founding management team, having been instrumental to the Company’s growth since 2000.  His contributions have been particularly notable in the areas of sales channel development and management, as well sales strategy, which have been learned over a sales management career of more than 15 years, both in Australia and overseas.


Steve, together with the founding CEO, created a strong, team-oriented culture within M2 and this is a testament to his effective people leadership style.

 Scott Carter

Business & Wholesale Director

Scott is M2’s Business and Wholesale Director, responsible for retail sales channels and the wholesale business unit.  He joined M2 in April 2011.

Scott has approximately 20 years experience in the telecommunications industry and during this time has held management positions with Hutchison, Request Broadband and PowerTel.  Prior to joining M2, Scott was Managing Director / Executive Director of Clever Communications Australia Limited (ASX: CVA).

A member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Scott is a passionate leader and brings strategic strengths to the business and wholesale business units with his in-depth knowledge of multi-channel distribution and the SMB market.
 Tom Mazerski

Chief Customer Officer

Tom joined in M2 in June 2012 following the acquisition of Primus Telecom.  Previously CEO of Primus Telecom in Australia, Tom is M2’s Chief Customer Officer and is responsible for all contact centre operations and the consumer business unit.

Tom is a seasoned telecom executive with over 35 years’ experience. His areas of expertise include customer operations, marketing, process reengineering, pricing/margin improvements, and business planning.  After a 20 year career with Verizon in the United States, he has also founded several new telecommunications business.

With a master’s degree in Economics, Tom is known for his ability build and support new business processes such that customers receive an “awesome” experience. His fundamental belief is that it is everyone’s job to save and grow customers and you should treat every customer as if it is the only one you have. 

Michael Speglic

Commercial Director

As the Commercial Director, Michael manages M2’s key carrier relationships and agreements, revenue assurance, procurement and the review of and due diligence on M&A opportunities.

With a 16 year career in telecommunications, Michael joined M2 in 2007 following the Company’s acquisition of Orion Telecommunications, where he held various roles across sales, billing, product development and commercial analysis.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts and a MBA (Strategic Management) and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.  His renowned commercial negotiation skills and business acumen have provided M2 with valuable strategic benefits during their growth stage.
Alistair Carwardine

Technology Director

Alistair is M2’s Technology Director and leads the teams responsible for IT and Network.
He joined M2 in 2009 following the acquisition of the Commander business, where has was Chief Technology Officer.

He has worked in a variety of senior technical and management positions at Qantas, Peakhour, AOL7, News Ltd and Orion Telecommunications (Ireland).  Prior to corporate life, Alistair served in the Royal Australian Navy, enjoying life at sea in a number of destroyers and submarines.

Alistair holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Liberal Studies, a Masters of Management and is a graduate of the Executive Education Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management.

Alistair brings years of experience as an executive to the M2 Group, as well as a diverse range of skills gained across a number of industries.

         

 Sarah Curtis

Product Marketing Director

As M2’s Product Marketing Director, Sarah is responsible for product management, brand development, marketing campaigns and customer life cycle management.

Prior to joining M2 in 2009 following the acquisition of People Telecom, where she held the position of Marketing Manager, Sarah worked in Marketing at Metro International in Macau, China, where her marketing efforts focused on growing the expatriate community.

A member of the Australian Marketing Institute, Sarah holds a Bachelor of Business, a Certificate in Direct Marketing (ADMA) and a Certificate in Copywriting (RMIT).

Sarah’s approach to strategic marketing and branding and her proven ability to successfully execute have provided M2 with a distinctly fresh and vibrant brand image.
 Johnathan Eele

Johnathan Eele

Managing Director/CEO – M2 NZ

Johnathan joined M2 in late 2010 when Black + White, the business he founded as New Zealand’s first MVNO, merged with M2’s New Zealand operations.  He now manages the NZ business and is based in Auckland.

Prior to founding Black +White, Johnathan's 13 years in telecommunications started with Cable & Wireless followed by Hutchison Whampoa and Telecom NZ, where he was Head of CPE Sourcing and Marketing.  His experience includes pricing, procurement, marketing and bid management in the UK, Ireland, United States and most recently New Zealand.

Johnathan holds a BA (hons) in Business Studies and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Johnathan’s wide functional and multi-national experience assists the NZ business to leverage the M2 Group’s resources and grow market share in the small business and wholesale markets.
