Chief Executive Officer

Geoff Horth joined M2 in early 2009 to lead the integration and management of M2's acquisition of the People Telecom business.  Geoff moved into the role of Chief Operating Officer in late 2010 and on the announcement of founding CEO Vaughan Bowen’s transition into an Executive Director was appointed CEO.

Geoff has worked within the telecommunications industry for in excess of 20 years having joined Alcatel's accounting cadet program in 1988 after a brief stint in the finance sector. Geoff holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from the University of Technology, Sydney and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Geoff expanded his skills through a number of sales and general management roles including his involvement as General Manager of Indirect and Wholesale at Commander and most recently as Group GM of Enterprise at Commander.

Geoff brings an invaluable diversity of skills and experience to the M2 executive team having worked in vendor and service provider organisations managing indirect, wholesale and direct sales organisations across both the SMB and Enterprise segments.

Darryl Inns

Darryl Inns

Chief Financial Officer

Darryl joined M2 in late 2001, at a time when the Company was still based in Adelaide and undergoing a marked shift in its core business model, from technology manufacturer to telecommunications re-seller.

Darryl is a Certified Practising Accountant and has served in senior finance roles in technology and manufacturing companies in both Australia and in the United Kingdom.

During his time at M2, Darryl has focussed on cash flow management, the implementation of comprehensive management reporting systems and risk management procedures.

 

           
Steve Wicks

Steve Wicks

Group Sales Director

Steve is a member of M2's founding management team, having served with the Company since 2000.
Having been employed initially as Victorian state manager, Steve demonstrated the capabilities for a broader management role and was appointed general manager in early 2002.

Steve's contributions have been particularly notable in the areas of sales systems development and channel management, learned over a sales management career of more than 15 years, both in Australia and overseas.

Steve, together with the managing director, has created a strong, team-oriented culture within M2. Negligible staff turnover and a visibly strong work ethic are testament to this effective leadership approach.

Steve has a close working relationship with the managing director and chief financial officer in directing day-to-day operations and growth related strategies.

Michael Speglic

Michael Speglic

Commercial Director

Michael is part of the management talent that was gained on M2's acquisition of the Orion Telecommunications business.

Over a 12 year period with Orion Michael worked in a variety of roles across the company and brings with him a vast array of experience within the telecommunications industry spanning sales, billing, operations, product development and commercial analysis.  Michael was a member of the Senior Leadership Team with Orion, and with M2, became the Commercial Manager.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts gained at the University of Tasmania and a Masters in Business Administration majoring in Strategic Management from Charles Sturt University.

Michael directly assists the Chief Executive Officer in all commercial negotiations for the Group and works closely with the Directors of Operations, Sales and Marketing, and Wholesale in developing, implementing and reviewing the Group's pricing strategies, as well as overseeing the customer billing and reporting functionality across the Group.

Kellie Dean

Company Secretary / Legal Affairs

Kellie Dean joined M2 in October 2007 following its acquisition of Orion Telecommunications (T/A Southern Cross Telco), where she held the position of Company Secretary and Corporate Affairs Manager for 3 years.  During this time Kellie was responsible for all company secretarial and corporate matters, as well as human resources.

Kellie holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Tasmania and in 2007 completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance with Chartered Secretaries Australia, gaining associate membership.

Kellie is Company Secretary for all M2 entities and is responsible for all company secretarial matters.  In addition, Kellie advises the M2 group of companies on all legal matters including the drafting, negotiation and review of contracts; regulatory and compliance affairs; industrial relations and risk management.  She brings to M2 valuable experience in the areas of corporate governance, shareholder liaison and mergers and acquisitions.
