M2 Telecommunications Group Ltd ("M2") is one of Australia's largest and most profitable telecommunications service providers, supplying a broad range of telecommunications products and services to both the retail and wholesale markets. M2 was established in 1999 and listed on the ASX (Code: MTU) in 2004. Company headquarters are in Melbourne, with approximately 950 team members in sites around Australia and New Zealand.
On 1 June 2012, M2 completed the acquisition of Primus Telecom Holdings Pty Ltd, adding next generation product capability in the form of Hosted PBX, VoIP and cloud services.
On 18 March 2013, M2 announced the acquisition of Dodo Australia Holdings Pty Ltd and the off market takeover of Eftel Limited.
M2's leading brands in Australia are Primus, Commander, M2 Wholesale and in New Zealand, Black + White.
